We know that you're into personal development.
We know that you like a good challenge.
We know that you know your shit.
We know that you want to surround yourself with others who are up to big things.
These are the reasons we would like you to attend the first ever
Axistence Coach's Course.

Axistence Coach's Course.
Over the last decade (and the last seven years at Axistence), we've been nerding the f*ck out when it comes to fitness, business, mindset, adventure, and community building.
All that learning is great, but its also useless unless we share it.
And we want to share it with you.
All that learning is great, but its also useless unless we share it.
And we want to share it with you.
When is this epic event?
Saturday, August 22nd and Sunday, August 23rd
From 9:00am to 3:00pm both days
Where's is this badassery taking place?
Axistence: Training For A Life of Adventure
1950 S. Quebec St.
Denver, CO 80231
**On Sunday, we'll start at the Castle Rock Adventure Park ****
What exactly am I getting myself into?
The Axistence Coach is an invite-only gathering for fitness professionals in the Greater Denver Area. This two-day intensive course will be a deep dive into the core values of Axistence (Adventure, Community, and Education). We've learned a lot in the last decade and we'd like to share that knowledge with like-minded, fitness pros in the area. We've also created a series of fitness standards** that we believe every Adventure Athlete should strive towards. We will be testing these standards together at the course :)
**Note: These standards are NOT a 'PASS/FAIL'. While we realize that being able to check each of these off will make it easier to live one's active existence, we don't expect everyone taking the course to possess these skills yet.
How much is it?
$0.00
(We may be making some of our own gear (DIY stuff) so there could be a small cost there. Stay tuned.)
Why are we doing this?
Although the future of the fitness industry may be uncertain, by sharing our methodology, best practices, ideas for the future, and coming together as a community, we have a unique opportunity to learn and grow from one another. We are extremely fortunate to live in an area with some of the most knowledgeable and inspirational fitness professionals in the industry (YOU).
We are looking to expand the Axistence team and we believe that this could be a great opportunity to potentially meet the next generation of Axistence coaches.
Who's going to be there?
This event will be limited to ten people, on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants will be a combination of personal trainers, group fitness coaches, and fitness business owners.

THE INTENT OF THE WEEKEND
1. We want to share what we call "The Axistence Method"
At Axistence, we implement a mix of fitness, mindset, community, skill acquisition, and adventure to assist our members in creating their most active existence. This mix is something we call "The Axistence Method".
As we've said from day one "Everything works, nothing works forever, and there's always room to improve". Our methodology is a combination of the best practices, taken from dozens of systems, designed specifically to live one's most adventurous life. We also know that sharing what we've learned is a great way to gain a deeper understanding. Eventually, this may turn into a certification so we also need a beta-test of sorts :)
2. We are actively looking to grow the Axistence Team
In the past, all of our coaches have gone through a lengthy internship, typically over the course of several months. For those interested in coaching, this two-day intensive will drastically shorten that time period.
3. If you're not assessing, you're guessing...
We've created a series of fitness standards geared towards "The Adventure Athlete". These fitness standards are not easy, but we're also not asking anything outrageous of you. We believe that coaches should practice what they preach. The Axistence method is intended to help the everyday human live their most active existence. If these standards are met, that existence becomes much easier. We anticipate that the coaches taking the course may not yet possess these standards, and that's ok. Again, this is NOT as 'PASS/FAIL' test. Remember, one of the reasons we're putting all of this together is to gather data. As instructors, we will not let anyone perform these tests if their mechanics are poor. As much as we love having people get out of their comfort zone, in this case PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT ANYTHING THAT YOU ARE NOT 100% COMFORTABLE WITH.
The Tests:
CONDITIONING:
Aerobic Capacity: 4x up and down the mini-incline in Castle Rock
Short Work Capacity: 3 minutes of sandbag get-ups
STRENGTH:
Lower Body Hinge:
- Barbell Deadlift (M: 2x BW, W: 1.5BW)
Lower Body Squat:
- Front Squat for reps (M: BW for 20 Reps, F: .75BW for 20 Reps)
-Total Body Power
- Barbell Clean (M: BW, F: .75 BW)
Upper Body Pull:
- Strict Pull-up (M: 10 reps, F: 5 reps)

4. Topics Covered
- Movement Patterns & Adaptations (This is how we organize the Axistence Method programming)
- "Enter-trainment" (How to keep students engaged and having fun while at the same time delivering extraordinary value)
- Leadership Skills (Epic teams are built with epic leadership...and epic leadership does not rest upon one person. It happens when everyone on the team is able to take extreme ownership of any situation. We are building an epic team.)
- Axistence Philosophy (The method behind the madness: Why we use the systems we use, which ones we don't, and why.)
- The Mindset of The Adventure Athlete (A lesson on how to think about what you're thinking about and why you're thinking about it :) ) This one can get deep!
- Culture & Core Values (Living into your core values, and creating an environment where others have the opportunity to do the same is one of the most often overlooked areas of team and business development.)
You are cordially invited to attend the first ever Axistence Coach's Course
