What is an Axistence Athlete?
An individual who values living a life of adventure and consistently trains to prepare for that journey.
The Axistence Athletics Method
Purposeful training designed to prepare the individual for physical and mental challenges they may encounter throughout their life and while on their adventures; essentially developing the strength and skill for a long life of active existence (Axistence).
These guys are fantastic! They believe in fitness for the real world; their program is designed to better prepare you for all of your outdoor adventures or just make you feel healthier in your own body. I highly recommend!

Axistence PyramidThe Axistence Model is illustrated as a pyramid and broken down into Functional Fitness, Skill Acquisition and Adventure. These components are intertwined with our core values: Community, Education and Adventure. This model is the optimal path to unlocking your Axistence and living a most active lifestyle. We aren't trying to just get you better at gym exercises, but rather enable you to enjoy life and all of the adventure that it holds!

Functional FitnessWe are not here to help you get better at exercising. We want to help you live a better life - one with the strength and skill to do the things that are important to you, whether that's climbing mountains or keeping up with with your grandkids. We do that by developing a program for real-life application... true functional fitness.
Within a community/group environment, we combine the best of disciplines like weightlifting, gymnastics and cardio with species specific movements such as running, jumping, crawling and climbing. |
Aspects of our programming include: safety, periodization (eight week cycles), standards across all domains, multiple movements across many modalities, testing/retesting, weekly cycle (2 days on, 1 day off, 2 days on, 1-2 days adventure/rest), individualized volume and intensity, practical and tactical applications.
If you're into the details, see our social media and journal posts. We get into the nitty gritty with technique, strength building and explain how and why we choose program workouts the way we do.

Skill Acquisition
With a firm foundation in functional fitness, you will be able to get the most out of our Outdoor and Tactical Classes.
Outdoor SkillsThe Outdoor School includes classes designed to expose, use and increase proficiency of the skills necessary to tackle the backcountry. These classes range from Rock/Ice Climbing to Fire-Building, Tracking, Camping, Trekking and Snowshoeing. We have two paths to the Outdoor School: the Geared Track and the Primitive Track. Thanks largely to our partnerships, both tracks offer a wide variety of skills and trips.

Tactical Skills
The Tactical School focuses on developing life saving and decision-making skills. First Aid, Self-Defense and Orienteering are the backbone of our training. Classes and courses are offered to students interested in becoming better able to assess situations in order to provide protection and care. You never know when an emergency will take place, but you should always be prepared for one when you're called to action.
The SummitThis is where you really get outside your comfort zone! Whether climbing Mt. Rainier or surfing in Nicaragua, the Epic Trips are where Adventure lives. The courses found in this school are expeditions that require a great deal of planning as well as a specific training program. With a firm foundation and acquired skill set, you're sure to enjoy the view from the top of whatever mountain rises in front of you.

These guys changed my life. The focus is on you and your goals, in the safest healthy way. Such a great supportive community.

Personal Coaching (PC) Program
The PC Program assigns every one of our members to a specific coach upon graduation from the Pipeline (explained in the Process). This coach will be your point of contact for any questions you may have while achieving your goals. They will check in on you when you've been absent and help you get your nutrition on track. Of course you can still ask any of our coaches anything, but this assigned individual will be your Personal Coach.
Why are we doing this? Because the two biggest factors to getting great results are ACCOUNTABILITY and CONSISTENCY. So, to enhance your overall experience, the PC Program combines the best aspects of personal training while still allowing you to take advantage of the group environment. Not to worry, the PC Program is included in your monthly membership. Of course if you'd like to schedule a one-on-one with your PC to really get after it, you may do so at an extra charge.
