The Get Up! Challenge: [12 Slots Left!!]
Axistence’s mission is to inspire a life of active existence through adventure, community, and education. Part of an active existence is leading a life of personal growth, and as we experience in our Axistence workouts, growth comes through challenge. We often physically challenge our bodies, but it is important to challenge our minds as well. And strengthening your mind can be something as simple as committing to get up early...
Who?
Our very own Seth Gregg is no stranger to personal development. From Stoic philosophy, to professional leadership, Seth embodies what it means to be an Axistence Athlete. As an Axistence Intern and soon to be coach, Seth is anything but a beginner in fitness. He started his CrossFit journey in 2013, and became an Axistence Athlete in 2020. In 2019 he began waking up at 5:00am and realized that for most of his life, he had been missing out on one of the most powerful hours of the day.
What exactly is the Get Up! Challenge?
In his own words:
"I challenge you to join me at 5:00 am every weekday from March 6 - March 18th, 2022, virtually, and (on Sundays & Wednesdays) at the Axistence Platt Park location. We’ll start each day with mental workouts that will help you become calmer, more focused, and better prepared to take on obstacles in your life—physical and otherwise. You’ll learn about and practice mental exercises I’ve used over the past several years for my own personal growth. The practices borrow from my readings and experience with Stoicism, Mindfulness, and professional leadership."

How it works:
What will you get out of it?
Now: Challenge yourself and win each morning, just by getting up early!
Daily: Learn practical tools you can use to be calm, focused, & take on obstacles in your life.
Lifetime: Build a practice of internal & external awareness to create clarity, help you confidently take on challenges, and embrace change in your life.
- The cost is $55.00 per person and will be limited to 12 people.
- Each day will build on the previous, as well as include some homework in the evenings and weekends. Because of this, attendees are expected to commit to the challenge, or know ahead of time the dates they won't be able to attend.
