by Jake Lott, Coach At Axistence, we offer modifications to exercises, so you can choose the right movement for your level of fitness, to work around injuries or to help you meet a goal. But too many people do themselves a disservice by viewing the modified option as having less of an impact on your fitness. In an effort to better compare their performance against their peers in the short-term, people might refuse to accept an alternative that may actually improve their long-term ability. Don't be that guy! (Or woman!) Modifying exercises are a great way to customize your workouts based on your individual goals, your skill set or your injuries.
